This checklist ensures safe, sterile, and effective administration of Attiva RF treatment for tissue tightening and remodeling, following SOMA’s protocols.

Preparation Before Patient Arrival:

Patient Preparation:

Klein Solution Preparation:

Mix: 500 ml NSS + 20 ml Lidocaine with adrenaline + 5 ml Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4%

Draw 200 ml into galipot for use

 

 

 

 

Attiva RF Machine Setup:

Place the ground pad securely on the patient’s back (must touch the skin)

 

 

 

22. 

 

Turn on the Attiva RF system

 

 

 

23. 

 

Set temperature to 55–58°C, time to 180 seconds per vector

 

 

 

24. 

 

Activate the RFID chip of the RF cannula

 

 

 

25. 

 

Connect the cannula to the RF machine and position the foot pedal next to Dr. Dora

 

 

 

 

Procedure:

Patient positioned safely with underpads and blanket

 

 

 

27. 

 

Prep area aseptically with Betadine in 3 scrubbing cycles (circular motion from center outward)

 

 

 

28. 

 

Drape the patient with sterile adhesive drapes

 

 

 

29. 

 

Local anesthesia injection using 1cc syringe (lidocaine 2% with adrenaline)

 

 

 

30. 

 

Use G18 needle to open entry port

 

 

 

31. 

 

Infiltrate area with Klein solution (10cc syringe + infiltration cannula)

 

 

 

32. 

 

Clean the RF cord with alcohol before passing to Dr. Dora

 

 

 

 

Dr. Dora performs RF treatment

 

33. 

 

Each vector treated for 3 minutes, maintaining movement once desired temperature is reached

 

 

 

 

Post-Procedure:

Apply Betadine to entry site

 

 

 

35. 

 

Cover with spot bandage and waterproof dressing

 

 

 

36. 

 

Remove drapes and clean surrounding area

 

 

 

37. 

 

Dress the patient and provide aftercare instructions

 

 

 

 

Follow-Up:

Book follow-up appointment based on Dr. Dora’s instructions
